Hizbullah Leader Nasrallah: We Are Ready For Victory That “Will Change The Face Of The Region”

 

In a speech marking Martyrs’ Day, Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah confirmed reports that Hizbullah had conducted a large-scale military exercise south of the Litani river the previous week, and noted that the exercise had given the enemy the message that the resistance was ready not only to defend Lebanon but also to achieve “the historic victory that will change the face of the region.”

Referring to Hizbullah’s weapons, Nasrallah said that no one in the world could disarm the organization or implement U.N. Security Council Resolution 1559.

Nasrallah harshly attacked the March 14 Forces, saying that if they elect a president on their own by simple majority, the opposition would not recognize him and would see him as a “usurper.”

Nasrallah also called on Lebanese President Emil Lahoud to act to save Lebanon if no agreement over the next president could be arrived at.
